Milling media

Milling Media are used inside ball mills to reduce coarse powder to a finer particle size. When ball milling black powder the media must be made from a non-sparking material like lead (often hardened, 4% Antimonial Lead is a typical hardened Lead to use for milling media) - readily available at good fishing supplies stores - or ceramic balls to prevent accidental ignition; steel and other ferrous alloys (except special grades of Stainless Steel) should never be used for grinding oxidizers and fuels together as they will very likely cause an accidental spark resulting in ignition, however it can be used for grinding oxidizers and fuels separately.
