Meal Powder

In general the term meal powder is nonchalantly used to denote various kinds of black powder. Although the term is somehow ambiguous, we have bear to in mind that meal powder means processed (intimately mixed) black powder, e.g. ball-milled BP not yet granulated, but not green mix or similarly slow-burning composites made of gunpowder raw materials. On the other hand, we must set meal powder apart from Meal D, which is corned (pressed and recrushed) gunpowder showing a known particle size and density. Although in many cases the former may successfully serve as a substitute for the latter, these are still two different things.
